The increased L2 cache is a significant improvement for the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, which is designed for high-refresh-rate 1080p and 1440p gaming PCs. The larger cache allows for smoother gaming experiences, minimizing potential bottlenecks caused by higher-resolution textures and increased resolution.

With its 192-bit memory bus interface and the latest G6X memory, the RTX 4070 SUPER already offers impressive performance. However, there are scenarios where the memory subsystem can become strained, leading to slower performance.
