According to an interview with Intel Fellow Tom Petersen, the company is making significant progress on the new GPU. Around 30% of the engineering team is currently working on the software side of Battlemage, with the aim of completing it by January 2025.
Petersen also mentioned that the team is already moving on to the next graphics card, Celestial, indicating that Intel is focused on pushing out new hardware in the near future. While no specific details were given regarding the release of Arc Battlemage, Petersen expressed hope that Intel could showcase something at next year’s CES event.
