The free, five-day summer camp, designed by MSU’s College of Engineering, will focus on introducing senior middle school and freshmen high school students to the exciting world of semiconductors. Other institutions receiving funding include Delta College, Lansing Community College, Michigan Technological University, Oakland University, University of Michigan, Washtenaw Community College, and Wayne State University. Together, these programs will create specific semiconductor training programs and expand educational opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing careers in the semiconductor chip industry.
