The Independent Media Agencies of Australia Introduces AI Guiding Principles

The Independent Media Agencies of Australia (IMAA) has recently released a comprehensive set of AI Guiding Principles, aimed at establishing ethical standards for the use of artificial intelligence in the industry. The IMAA collaborated with members and Australian AI agency AirStack to develop these 10 principles, which outline the association’s vision for the responsible and ethical use of AI.

The CEO of IMAA, Sam Buchanan, believes that these principles mark a significant milestone for the independent media sector in Australia. He acknowledges the transformative power of AI in the media landscape, which is expected to contribute nearly $6.6 trillion to global productivity by 2030.
