In addition, Razer has also included a dual-mode mini-LED display as an option, allowing users to choose between 4K at 120Hz or 1600p at 240Hz. The dual-mode display now features a local dimming option, providing improved contrast and deeper blacks for an even more immersive experience.

The Blade 16 has also received a CPU upgrade, now powered by the 14th Gen (Raptor Lake) Core i9-14900HX from Intel. Although specific details on the new CPU are yet to be revealed, leaked benchmarks indicate that it offers similar performance to its predecessor. The laptop still offers up to an RTX 4090 GPU, allowing for impressive graphical capabilities.

Moving on to the Blade 14, it comes with a minor CPU update to the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS, which incorporates better onboard AI processing. Razer claims that this enhancement will boost AI workloads, improving performance for certain tasks. The 14-inch display, with a resolution of 2560 x 1660 and a refresh rate of 240Hz, is now Calman Verified, ensuring factory calibration for accurate colors.

Razer has also teased the upcoming Blade 18, which features a 4K 165Hz display and the inclusion of Thunderbolt 5. While details are scarce at the moment, this announcement has generated much excitement among gamers, as Thunderbolt 5 will offer faster charging, data transfer, and refresh rates.

Additionally, Razer has introduced an 11-port USB-C dock, featuring an aluminum case and a range of connectivity options. With Gigabit ethernet, HDMI 2.0, SD and microSD slots, and multiple USB ports, this dock provides a convenient solution for expanding the laptop’s capabilities.
