Intel Launches New 14th Gen Non-K Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs

Intel has just released its highly anticipated 14th Gen Non-K Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs for desktops. This new lineup includes a total of 18 chips, offering a wide variety of options for PC builders. The CPUs range from the top-tier Core i9 series to the more budget-friendly Core i3 series.

In terms of specifications, the Core i9 CPUs feature 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores, with up to 36 MB of L3 cache and support for both DDR5-5600 and DDR4-3200 memory. The top-end Core i9-14900 model can reach clock speeds of up to 5.8 GHz. Prices for the Core i9 series range from $524 to $549.

The Core i7 lineup is similar to the Core i9 series, with 8 P-Cores and 12 E-Cores, up to 33 MB of L3 cache, and clock speeds up to 5.4 GHz. The Core i7 models are priced between $359 and $384.

For the Core i5 series, there are two variations. The first features 6 P-Cores and 8 E-Cores, while the rest of the lineup utilizes a mix of 6 P-Cores and 4 E-Cores configurations. The Core i5 CPUs have up to 24 MB of L3 cache and price ranges from $196 to $255.

Lastly, the Core i3 lineup consists of three SKUs, featuring 4 P-Cores, 12 MB of L3 cache, and clock speeds up to 4.7 GHz. The prices for the Core i3 models range from $109 to $134.

These new 14th Gen CPUs from Intel bring various improvements, including faster clock speeds, support for DDR5 memory, and an increase in overall performance compared to previous generations. They are compatible with existing LGA 1700 and 1800 socket motherboards.
