By processing the collected data directly on the device, the amount of information transmitted over mobile networks is significantly reduced.

Ogmen Robotics, a pet-friendly start-up, has developed a robot that follows pet dogs around the house. Equipped with AI capabilities, the robot monitors the dog’s mood and initiates games if it detects boredom or separation anxiety. By shooting tennis balls, the robot can keep a game of fetch going as long as the dog desires. For instance, bHaptics revealed an electronic bodysuit that allows users to experience VR through their entire body. Forty “vibro-tactile” motors embedded in the suit deliver physical feedback during VR games. Similarly, Palmplug presented haptic gloves primarily designed for physical therapy but also offering haptic feedback and hand tracking within virtual reality applications.
