Samsung Unveils AI-Powered TV Lineup for 2024

Samsung is back with its highly anticipated lineup of Neo QLED and OLED TVs for 2024, and this time, artificial intelligence (AI) takes center stage. The company showcased its latest offerings at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, highlighting the integration of AI to enhance picture quality, sound, and personalization.

The 8K Neo QLED lineup features two models, the QN800D and QN900D, available in sizes ranging from 65 to 85 inches. These high-resolution TVs come with improved sound and sleek designs. Samsung boasts that the QN900D Neo QLED is the slimmest 8K TV ever released. Both models are equipped with the NQA AI Gen3 processor, which promises double the speed and eight times the neural networks compared to its predecessor.

AI technology brings a host of smart features to the 8K Neo QLED TVs. The AI Upscaling Pro feature improves the resolution of SD and HD content to 4K and even 8K. AI Motion Enhancer Pro ensures smoother and clearer visuals for gaming, sports, and action-packed movies. Sports enthusiasts will particularly appreciate the ability of the TV to track specific balls, eliminating blurry images. The Real Depth Enhancer Pro focuses on enhancing object clarity and contrast while maintaining the background.

Gamers will be delighted to know that the QN900D supports a 240Hz VRR (variable refresh rate) for a seamless gaming experience without sacrificing resolution.

Samsung has also introduced updates to its 4K Neo QLED lineup, which includes the QN90D and QN85D models. These TVs feature an updated Neural Quantum Processor and the improved Real Depth Enhancer Pro.

For OLED enthusiasts, Samsung showcases the S95D and S90D models in sizes ranging from 55 to 77 inches. Building on the success of its quantum-dot OLED technology, Samsung introduces Glare-Free technology to its OLED lineup. This technology minimizes glare in both low light and bright room settings, ensuring optimal viewing angles with no compromise on contrast or color.

In addition to the impressive picture quality, the S95D offers a slim design and support for 144Hz VRR for an immersive gaming experience. Furthermore, Samsung has enhanced the built-in speaker system, promising “True Channel Dolby Atmos” for cinematic surround sound.

With AI at the forefront, Samsung’s 2024 TV lineup aims to provide viewers with stunning visuals, immersive audio, and personalized entertainment experiences. While pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed, Samsung’s new offerings are set to make waves in the world of smart TVs.
