Nvidia Unveils New Graphics Cards at CES 2024

Nvidia has officially introduced its latest generation of graphics cards, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super. The announcement, made at CES 2024, signals the return of Nvidia’s Super branding for its updated GPUs. These new cards offer impressive specifications and, importantly, more competitive pricing, aligning them better with the market for top-of-the-line graphics cards.

One notable aspect is that all three cards are priced under $1,000. The RTX 4080 Super has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $999, followed by the RTX 4070 Ti Super at $799, and the RTX 4070 Super at $599. While higher-end variants from Nvidia’s board partners could sell for more, these prices provide a more accessible entry point for consumers.

The pricing of the RTX 4080 Super, in particular, is significant, as it now directly competes with the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, one of the best graphics cards currently available. This competition adds excitement to the market, as these cards offer similar performance capabilities.

The RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4070 Super cards, while matching the launch MSRP of their non-Super counterparts, also bring their own advantages. The 4070 Ti Super competes against the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, while the 4070 Super offers 20% more shaders than its non-Super counterpart, making it a strong contender despite its slightly higher price compared to the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT.

The availability of these new GPUs is set for January 2024. The Nvidia RTX 4070 Super will be available on January 16, followed by the RTX 4070 Ti Super on January 23, and finally, the RTX 4080 Super on January 30.

Nvidia’s latest graphics cards promise to deliver enhanced performance and more accessible pricing, making them an attractive choice for gamers and professionals alike. As always, it is recommended to stay tuned for reviews and additional information on these exciting new offerings.
