New GPUs Unleashed: Nvidia’s RTX 40 Series Mid-Cycle Refresh

In a major development in the graphics card industry, Nvidia has launched its highly anticipated RTX 40 series mid-cycle refresh. The company’s AIB (Add-In-Board) partners have wasted no time in announcing their own aftermarket graphics cards that feature Nvidia’s latest GPUs. Leading manufacturers such as Inno3D, MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus have all unveiled their lineup of cards, including the RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super.

Asus, during a live stream, confirmed that it will be updating all of its current graphics card sub-lineups to include the new RTX 40 series GPUs. This means that the ROG Strix series, TUF series, ProArt series, and Dual series will all receive upgrades. Each lineup will offer multiple variants of the RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super, including factory overclocked options and special white colorway editions.

MSI has also refreshed its entire GPU lineup with the new Super GPUs. In addition to updating its flagship Suprim series and Gaming Trio series, MSI has introduced a new Expert series that caters to both gaming and professional use. The Expert series features an innovative blower-inspired cooler design with a flow-through cooling architecture.

Gigabyte’s Aorus, Gaming, Aero, Eagle, and Windforce series lineups will also be updated with Nvidia’s Super GPUs. While details are scarce at the moment, it appears that Gigabyte’s partner cards will see minimal changes, similar to Asus.

Inno3D has unveiled its iChill Black, Frostbite, and X3 variants of the RTX 40 series Super graphics cards. The highest-end SKU, the RTX 4080 Super iChill X3 Black, comes with an AIO cooling system and a sleek design. Meanwhile, the RTX 4080 Super iChill Frostbite features a water block designed for custom-cooled systems and boasts superior performance. Inno3D’s air-cooled variant, the iChill X3, is available in both RTX 4080 Super and 4070 Super models and features a triple-fan cooler design.

With these new GPUs hitting the market, gamers and professionals alike can look forward to enhanced performance and cutting-edge features. The competition between manufacturers is sure to heat up as they strive to deliver the best possible graphics card options to consumers.
