MSI Expands Product Line with New Quantum Dot OLED Monitors

MSI has recently introduced a new series of Quantum Dot OLED (QD OLED) monitors, expanding its range of products. The lineup includes the MGP 271QRX, a 27-inch monitor, the MPG 321URX, a 32-inch monitor, and the MGP 491CQP, a 49-inch ultrawide monitor.

The MGP 271QRX features a 27-inch flat QD OLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Notable technical specifications include a response time of 0.03 milliseconds and a color palette capable of rendering over 1.07 billion colors. This monitor also supports 10-bit color depth and is certified for DisplayHDR True Black 400. Additionally, it offers a high refresh rate of 360Hz.

The MPG 321URX, on the other hand, shares a similar flat QD OLED design but comes with a larger 31.5-inch display. It offers a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, a response time of 0.3 milliseconds, and the ability to showcase 1.07 billion colors. It is also certified for DisplayHDR True Black 400 and operates at a refresh rate of 240Hz.

The MGP 491CQP is a 49-inch ultrawide monitor with a curvature of 1800R, providing an immersive viewing experience. It has a unique 32:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 5120×1440 pixels. Similar to the other models, it features a response time of 0.3 milliseconds, supports 1.07 billion colors, and has 10-bit color depth. It is also certified for DisplayHDR True Black 400 and has a refresh rate of 144Hz.

In order to address burn-in concerns, MSI has integrated MSI OLED Care 2.0 technology into these monitors. These monitors utilize advanced materials like graphene for effective heat dissipation, eliminating the need for active cooling systems.

While MSI has released the technical specifications of these QD OLED monitors, details regarding their release dates and pricing information have not been disclosed yet.
